Why Herun exists.
The specialists women need through pregnancy, postpartum, and menopause work independently, scattered across a metro of eight million people. Herun puts them in one network and keeps them independent.

We don’t earn more when you book.
Specialists pay a flat fee to be in the network, and employers pay for access. Nobody here has a reason to manipulate your care and your access to it.
Practitioners stay independent, and vetting is built so experienced community practitioners are not shut out by paperwork designed for hospital systems.
How we verify
We check every credential with the body that issued it.
We verify with the issuing body, not with the specialist. What we verified is published on her profile, with the organization and the month it was last checked.

Doulas and sleep consultants are not licensed by the State of Texas. For these categories we verify training and certification with the organization that issued it, and every profile says which one.
Our pledge
Every year, Herun funds Menopause Society Certified Practitioner exam fees and Menopause Society memberships for 25 certified nurse-midwives.
Where we are
Dallas–Fort Worth first.
Dallas–Fort Worth is the launch market. Houston and Austin follow. Herun Health is a Delaware C-Corporation.
Founder
Nikki Richardson, Founder and CEO.
Nikki spent over a decade in healthcare staffing and recruitment operations, scaling revenue at Amergis Healthcare Staffing and leading national recruitment operations at Cross Country Healthcare as Assistant Director, managing teams across multiple countries. She studied at Howard University and UCLA and completed post-graduate coursework in midwifery.
